What does this cd sound like?
Glad you asked ;)
Ok, so you want to know our story?
The Biomimicry Arc is our magnum opus, a sonic journey that explores a futuristic soundscape & transcends genres. We spent the past two years writing, recording, & self-producing this album in our home studio. Our goal was to create an album that feels like a playlist curated by your best friend. Blending old-school soul vibe with cutting-edge beats to create a sound that's both nostalgic and fresh. We collaborated with some incredible artists here in Denver that share our vision, uniting to make music that's undeniably dope. Through collaboration we strive to push boundaries, elevate unique voices and offer different perspectives. If you're up for a sonic adventure that goes beyond the norm, we invite you step into our universe.
Welcome to the world of +Ultra.
ok, but who is +ultra?
+Ultra is really just the two of us, Ryan & Bharat.
Ryan is the drummer, recording engineer, and co-producer in the band. He loves microphones, drums, anime, coffee, and his dog Ellie. He’s basically a huge nerd.
Known for his drum sound and production style, he works with a lot of artists locally. For the past 10 years he’s continued to grow the next generation as a music educator.
<- this is Ellie :)
Barth is the other half of +Ultra, serving as the keyboardist, music director, and a co-producer. He grew up listening to soundtracks from movies, video games, and animes, before discovering jazz and hip-hop. After becoming one of the most in-demand keyboardists in Denver, he moved to NYC, not just to join the scene, but to master his craft as both a musician and an educator.
Outside of music, you can find him honing his skills in Smash Brothers, drinking craft root beers, and searching for the perfect pancake recipe.
